The Department of Materials Science and Engineering (MSE) at Izmir Institute of Technology (IZTECH) is a recently established department with a strong emphasis on graduate education. The department is planning to enlarge its faculty in the following years to meet the requirements of the newly initiated undergraduate curriculum. MSE invites applications for faculty positions at the rank of assistant professor and/or associate professor. The positions are available for both Turkish citizens and international applicants, and will start at the earliest convenience.

The candidates should hold a Ph.D. degree in closely related fields. The successful candidate should have an outstanding record of accomplishments and show the potential that he/she can establish an exceptional research program. They are also expected to have postdoctoral research experience that qualifies them as independent researchers.
