IZTECH Materials Science and Engineering Department Faculty Member Prof. Dr. Hâldun Sevinçli has received research support from the Air Force Office for Scientific Research of the United States Ministry of Defense for three years for his project entitled “Quantum magnetotransport in two-dimensional quartic materials”.

The project focuses on quartic materials, a novel family of two-dimensional materials, whose electronic properties show unprecedented features. In-depth knowledge about these new materials is aimed at the end of the project.
