1. Graduate Program Admissions Interview Schedule and Requirements

Interviews for graduate student admissions will be conducted in person on July 28, 2026.

• Interview Location: Faculty of Engineering, Building D, 1st Floor, Seminar Room No. 51

Interview Hours and ALES/GRE Requirements by Program:

• Ph.D. Program (With Master’s Degree) – English

  • Interview Time: 10:00 AM

  • Minimum Scores: ALES Quantitative: 65.00 / GRE Quantitative: 149.00

  • Requirement: Having a Master’s degree with a thesis in Engineering or Science.

• Direct Ph.D. Program (With Bachelor’s Degree) – English

  • Interview Time: 11:30 AM

  • Minimum Scores: ALES Quantitative: 80.00 / GRE Quantitative: 161.00

  • Requirement: Having a Bachelor’s degree in any department from the Faculty of Engineering or the Faculty of Science.

• M.Sc. Program (With Thesis) – English

  • Interview Time: 1:00 PM

  • Minimum Scores: ALES Quantitative: 65.00 / GRE Quantitative: 149.00

  • Requirement: Having a Bachelor’s degree in any department from the Faculty of Engineering or the Faculty of Science.

Evaluation Weights:

Evaluations will be calculated as 50% ALES/GRE, 20% GPA (Bachelor’s/Master’s), and 30% In-Person Interview score.

2. Graduate Lateral Transfer Admission Schedule

Interviews for lateral transfer applicants to the Department of Materials Science and Engineering for the 2026–2027 Fall Semester will be held in person on September 10, 2026.

• Interview Location: Faculty of Engineering, Building D, 1st Floor, Seminar Room No. 51

Interview Hours by Program:

• M.Sc. with Thesis (Lateral Transfer): September 10, 2026 | Time: 10:00 AM

• Ph.D. with Master’s Degree (Lateral Transfer): September 10, 2026 | Time: 11:30 AM
